What The Dryden Mission Does:

- Provide people with the skills necessary to set and achieve personal goals by equipping them with personalized life skills and foundations for independence.
- Offer people encouragement and support by unlocking opportunities through counseling, education, learning, training and employment and accountability.
- Teach people to give back to the community, live with integrity and responsibility while encouraging healthy family life.
- Networking with community agencies, business, educational facilities, churches and valuable community resources, people who care will bring a valuable experience to our client
- The Mission accepts donated household items they are sorted and cleaned by our volunteers, they put on the shelf, individuals who need items come through the doors and shop around for what they need.
- Our volunteers are seniors and clients from the ministry of Attorney General, high school students, community care clients. We take referrals as well from Ontario Works, Firefly, Dryden regional hospital, Dryden Police Services community service, OPP, local businesses and churches, the Dryden Food Bank, Northern Youth |Ministries and many other agencies.
At The Dryden Mission we teach by modeling Integrity, Honour and Responsibility.
